I have unfortunately never read the original Structure and Interpretation of Computer Programs, but going through the first chapter of the JavaScript adaptation of the same text I do find it really good.

Perhaps I should make good on that promise to myself and eventually get the original Blue Book. Seems like it could be worth it.
